Taking your worship ministry to the next level.

 

Encouraging, inspiring, uplifting, and equipping - It takes time. Often too much time for the volunteers and staff on our worship team. Designing meaningful worship services requires inspiration and dedication. Keeping our music teams, tech teams, visual arts teams, set up teams and other motivated and organized is an ongoing challenge. Growth among both veteran worship leaders and beginning is required so that congregations can be led and offered opportunities to connect with Christ.

The Worship Conference is a one day event designed with the local church worship ministry team in mind. Bring (or send) your worship pastor, volunteer worship leader, praise band members, tech team members, worship committee team, pastor, children's music leaders, and any others who want to take another step on the journey! We have assembled some of the areas most gifted leaders who are willing to serve during this event through seminars, presentations and conversations.

Josh Dix
The Journey - St. Louis, MO
Josh Dix is the Pastor of Leadership Development at The Journey in St. Louis, which is part of the Acts 29 network.

For the past 8 years, Josh has served as a worship leader and pastor, equipping and training new worship leaders for The Journey's five campuses across the St. Louis metro area.
Chris Baron
St. Matthew UMC - Belleville
Chris Baron is the contemporary worship leader at St. Matthew UMC.
Willie Jones
St. Louis, MO
Willie Jones is currently a worship leader at a local church in St. Louis. He has been involved in music ministry for many years and has a gift for vocals, keyboard, and drumming. He is also a songwriter, author and performer.
Don Frazure
Christ Church - Fairview Heights, IL
Don Frazure has been the Director of Worship at Christ Church since 2006. Born and raised in Pascagoula, Mississippi, Don began leading worship at age 16. After graduating from college, he went on to attend the Juilliard School and began a performing career that gave him the opportunity to sing throughout the United States and abroad. After serving churches in Mississippi and New York, Don felt God’s call to full-time worship ministry.
Hank Oplinger

St. Matthew UMC - Belleville, IL
Hank Oplinger is the music director for St. Matthew UMC. He has been at that church for 21 years.
Phil Mahder

Church Media Consultant - St. Louis, MO
Phil Mahder is part of Training Resources, an international teaching ministry that focuses on worship and unity in the church. His role is to help churches with the technology side of worship. He has been in this industry for over 25 years. Phil has a heart for churches that are going through changes, and need someone to walk it through with them.
Tim Price
Troy UMC and Harvest Ministry Teams - Troy, IL
Tim Price has been involved in worship and music ministry since he was a senior in high school. He has worked with hundreds of musicians (of all ages) and many different worship bands. Tim currently serves as the Worship Design Pastor at Troy UMC and serves as the Director of Harvest Ministry Teams.

The day will feature general sessions, electives, time for interaction, and lunch included in the registration fee.
The event will be hosted at St. Matthew Methodist Church (1200 Moreland Drive, Belleville, IL 62223).

Hearing the Heart - A panel of worship leaders will answer some of the questions we all have as worship leaders in local churches.

 

Registration begins at 8:00 AM on Saturday morning.

  • The Worship Conference will be hosted at St. Matthew United Methodist Church located at 1200 Moreland Drive, Belleville, IL 62223
  • Resource tables will be available during the day.
  • Lunch will be provided on site during the conference.

 

Registration Rates:

Registered by September 18:
    Individual - $45
    Group (3 or more)* - $35

Registered by September 25:
    Individual - $60
    Group (3 or more)* - $45

Register at the door:
    Individual - $80
    Group (3 or more) - $65

* If you have three or more coming from the same local church, please fill out forms individually and pay together.
* You must pre-register for the worship conference.

Cancellation Policy: All requests for cancellations must state the reason for requested funds and be submitted on church letterhead to Harvest Conferences. If cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the conference, registrations will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee. Cancellations made 15-30 days before the conference will be refunded for half the registered fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made within 15 days of conference.

Special Needs: All requests for special needs including special seating needs, hearing impaired assistance, and food allergies, should be submitted with your registration. However, if you require special assistance and have not requested it, please contact Suzanne Price immediately so adequate plans can be made.
